Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Last updated: June 1, 2026
RM Digital Enterprise ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Perivia mobile application (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the App.
By using Perivia, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use the App.
- Account information: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (including when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password).
- Profile information: menopause stage, health concerns, HRT status, and notification preferences.
- Health and symptom data: daily check-ins, symptom logs, medication records, notes, and related timestamps.
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, performance data, and general analytics.
- Push notification data: device push tokens and timezone settings used to deliver reminders at your local time.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve the App, including to:
- Create and manage your account and sync your data across devices.
- Store and display your symptom history, streaks, and wellness summaries.
- Send optional push notifications (such as daily check-in reminders) based on your settings.
- Generate AI-powered insights from your logged data when you request them.
- Provide export features (PDF doctor reports and JSON data exports).
- Monitor app reliability, fix bugs, and improve features.
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. AI Processing
When you use AI insights, we send relevant portions of your symptom and profile data to our secure cloud services,
which may use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate summaries and recommendations.
We do not use your data to train public AI models. AI outputs are informational only and are not medical advice.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information or health data. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers that help us run the App (for example, cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications), under contractual obligations to protect your data.
- When you choose to export or share data (for example, emailing a PDF report to your doctor).
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your account and health logs are stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase).
Some preferences may be cached locally on your device for faster access.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information.
Perivia is a consumer wellness app and is not intended to be a HIPAA-covered entity.
If you are a healthcare provider, do not use Perivia as a clinical record system unless you have separately assessed compliance requirements.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the App.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period,
except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or update your profile in Settings.
- Export your data using in-app export tools.
- Opt out of push notifications in Settings or device settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable under local law (including GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA).
8. Children's Privacy
Perivia is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Users
If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries
where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the "Last Updated" date.
Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.
